Poet Johnathon Williams and fiction writers Allison Hammond and Joshua Landers will read from their work at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 2, in Giffels Auditorium, Old Main. (Quoting from the University of Arkansas events calendar.)

Johnathon Williams has published work in 42opus and The Morning News, among other venues, and was featured in Best New Poets 2009. Allison Hammond’s fiction has appeared in Black Warrior Review and won the 2010 Meridian Editors’ Prize. All three students will graduate in May with MFAs from the English Department’s Programs in Creative Writing and Translation.

Johnathon will be the Collective’s featured writer on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Nightbird Books.
