Ozarks at Large, the daily hour-long news program of public radio’s KUAF-FM, interviewed former Fayetteville writer Tom Andes, who will read for the Ozark Poets & Writers Collective at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Nightbird Books, 205 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville.
The audio interview (well, it is radio) is titled “From Fayetteville to New Orleans and Back (If Only for a Night).” It is a hair under 12 minutes long, and was conducted by KUAF News Director Kyle Kellams.
Tom, now of New Orleans, is primarily a fiction writer. One of his short stories just has been accepted for publication in Best American Mystery Stories 2012. The book is scheduled to be published in October. Andes earned a bachelor’s Loyola University in New Orleans, then a master of arts and a master of fine arts from San Francisco State University.
